Kelson has the largest Kelson’s Vaccine Savings Program in the US. Our members include IPA’s, hospitals and individual practices (pediatric, family and specialty) in 38 states. For TIPAAA members we have developed a unique program that provides purchasing strategies for accessing vaccines from major manufacturers at significant savings.

In addition to our Vaccine Savings Program, Kelson offers TIPAAA members various practice management services including: managed care contracting, practice accounting, discounts on medical-surgical supplies and insurance, plus added revenue opportunities. KELSON PROGRAMS & SERVICES FOR TIPAAA MEMBERS

How does Kelson work with our IPA?
We meet with you to determine the programs and services that are of the most value to your members. We work with you to tailor the services to your particular membership and then present the programs to the practices. Financial considerations are based on the structure of the IPA and the level of participation and compliance by qualified members.

What is the Kelson Vaccine Savings Program?
Kelson has developed a unique Vaccine Savings Program allowing TIPAAA member IPA’s to offer substantial savings on vaccine purchases to their member practices, thereby increasing their operating margins on pediatric, adult, flu and travel vaccines.  While there are a number of vaccine programs in the market, Kelson’s is unique in offering wider access to competitive pricing and, even more importantly, in being able to show purchasing strategies tailored to the needs of a practice resulting in paying the lowest possible price and achieving the greatest margin. Kelson is committed to providing physicians a choice of manufacturer’s products that they determine are best for their practices. We do not promote one manufacturer’s brand products over another and we help members determine the financial and practice implications of the various choices.

How does the Vaccine Savings Program work?
Once your IPA endorses our program for its members, we work together to build the best purchasing strategies for the practices, which may include access to contracts with various vaccine manufactures. There are no participation costs for the IPA or practices and the savings are immediate! Practices continue to order directly and orders are shipped directly to the practice. In order to obtain lower pricing some manufacturers impose compliance requirements which are taken into account during the development of the  purchasing strategy. Kelson provides updates on new products, market trends, product promotions, cost updates, and other relevant vaccine topics.

What is the benefit to the IPA?
In addition to providing a program that will make a significant contribution to the bottom line of its members who vaccinate, Kelson offers financial programs based on overall participation and volume that may further increase net savings for member practices.

How much do practices save on the Vaccine Program?
Kelson pediatric members typically save 20% to 30% per year on their annual vaccine purchases (based on full CDC immunization schedule), and can save up to 60% on some individual products. Family and specialty practices savings are the same per vaccine with overall savings dependent on their volume and breadth of vaccines provided.

What other services does Kelson offer through TIPAAA?
To assist physicians in meeting their practice financial goals, Kelson offers services to increase profitability and to improve business operation practices.

• Managed Care Contracting: our expertise in managed care reimbursement coupled with our relationships with regional and national payers enables us to develop a strategic plan designed to improve your practice’s bottom line.  We manage your payer contract performance providing fee schedule analysis, credentialing coordination with managed care plans, and accounts receivable audits.
• Practice accounting: financial statements, overhead allocation, A/P, financial performance review (internal and against industry benchmarks).
